Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and your choices.
Who we are
SierraWorks Automation Company ("SierraWorks", "we", "us") is a small business in Roseville, California. This policy covers sierraworks.co, our free AI Scorecard, and the private client portals we run for our clients.
What we collect
- What you send us: name, email, phone, business name or website, trade or industry, preferred call time, and anything you write in a message or tell us on a call.
- Visit data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived, collected by Google Analytics.
- Client portal data: for clients, the business information, files and activity you put into your own portal, plus sign-in details handled by our login provider.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, schedule your call and send your written scorecard.
- To deliver and support the service if you become a client, and to bill you.
- To understand which pages work so we can improve the site.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
We use your contact details to reply to your request and send your scorecard. After you request a scorecard we send up to three emails about it: a confirmation and up to two reminders to pick a time. After that we stop unless you reply. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Who else sees it
We share data only with the services that help us run SierraWorks. They process it for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
| Service | What it does |
|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts the site, receives form submissions and sends our emails |
| Google Analytics | Measures site visits |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Measures whether visits to our landing pages came from our ads |
| HighLevel | Schedules your call |
| Stripe | Takes payments for clients. We never see or store your card number |
| Clerk | Handles sign-in for client portals |
| Neon, Fly.io | Host client portal databases and applications |
| Anthropic | AI model provider used in client features, only with client data and under our agreements |
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If SierraWorks is ever sold, your information may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information. The only advertising tool that receives visit data is the Meta Pixel described above.
Cookies and advertising
The website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure visits. Our landing pages at go.sierraworks.co also use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta that a visit came from one of our ads and records actions on the page, such as submitting the request form. Meta may receive your IP address, browser and device details, the page you viewed and that action. You can block cookies in your browser, use Google's opt-out add-on, or change your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings. We do not send Meta your name, email or phone number through the pixel.
How long we keep it
- Requests and conversations: until you ask us to delete them, or about 2 years after our last contact.
- Client data: for as long as you are a client, and available to export for 90 days after you leave. Then it is deleted unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to stop contacting you. California residents have these rights by law. Email hello@sierraworks.co and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and separate databases per client. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, and we will tell affected people if a breach affects their data, as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request. We will not send marketing texts without your clear consent. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Text messages
Text messages are sent by SierraWorks Automation Company, LLC (doing business as SierraWorks). SierraWorks sends alerts and notices from its own number to its owner and to administrators of client businesses who opt in, such as a notice when a scheduled sync did not run and a weekly summary. We also reply to people who text that number first. Each client business has its own separate number for its own messages.
- What we send: alerts, notices, weekly summaries and replies. Frequency varies and is low volume.
- Opt in: owners and administrators opt in to alerts. We reply to anyone who texts the number first.
- Opt out and help: reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
- Rates: message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- What we collect for texting: your mobile number, opt-in date, message content and delivery status.
- How we use it: to send the messages you opted in to and to keep a record of your consent.
- Your number: we do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
